Ingenious & Enterprising Women* is a programme that empowers women in STEM roles to take control of their professional development and careers. The programme was founded by Janet Wilkinson and Sara Shinton and it has run four times in previous years at the University of Edinburgh.

The most recent Ingenious Women programme was delivered online in 2020 by Joanna Young (Electv Training) & Caroline Broad (Broad Associates).

Due to the success of the programme, it is now national and Ingenious Women Scotland ran for the first time in 2018. We hold regular events around Scotland and these are open to all to attend. In 2018 the programme was supported by the Scottish Funding Council and CanDo and was run jointly between the University of Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow.
